Good morning from all the way from Bangkok as Iāve wrapped up for the year and will be spending the rest of the year on vacation with family and friends - the next newsletter will be published on the 4th of January 2026.
The second edition of āThis Year in Australian Startupsā will be in a very different format to last years, and Iāll be aiming for a publish date of either late January or early February - transparently depending on how much time I have to complete it to a standard Iām happy with.
If youāre interested in getting involved drop me a message and Iād be happy to explore partnership or collaboration opportunities.

Excellent roundup pulling all these threads together. The LaunchVic closure really captures how the ecosytem is maturing but also fragmenting - I rememmber when centralized hubs were the default, but now seeing founders build without that infrastructure actually proves the system's working. That $712m across 8 rounds shows capital is flowing regardless of institutional support.
